COMMISSIONER OF PUBLIC WORKS

The Town of Union in Broome County NY is seeking an experienced public works administrator to lead its Department of Public Works (DPW). The DPW has a total annual budget of $8.5 million, and a staff of 104. The Commissioner is responsible for the operations of all PW divisions including Administration, Engineering, Code Enforcement, Permits, Highways, Environmental Services, Storm and Sanitary Sewers, Refuse, Buildings & Grounds, Safety/OSHA, and management of the department’s human resources.

Qualifications: Extensive PW experience in all areas specified above.
