SRBC's 2011 Water Resources Program
The Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC) is currently seeking input from agencies and nongovernmental organizations for the 2011 Water Resources Program. Instructions and the form for submitting your responses can be found at http://www.srbc.net/planning/water-resources2011.htm. All responses are due by April 1, 2011.
The SRBC is required by the Susquehanna River Basin Compact (Article 14, Section 14.2) to annually produce and adopt a Water Resources Program that lists projects and facilities to be undertaken by SRBC and other governmental and non-governmental interests to meet the water resource needs of the Susquehanna basin. The online version of the 2010-11 Water Resources Program is available at http://www.srbc.net/planning/water-resources2010.htm.
Encompassing 18 counties in New York alone, recent versions of the Water Resources Program have included input from SRBC, 15 federal agencies, 9 state agencies, 12 regional, county and local agencies, and 14 non-governmental entities.
